Who it fits
Good fit for
You should consider this faucet if you are outfitting a bar sink or a secondary kitchen area. The compact dimensions fit well in tighter spaces where a standard kitchen faucet would be too large. The brushed gold finish suits modern or transitional decor styles. If you want a simple, single-handle control for quick adjustments, this model meets that need. The included power boost feature is useful for rinsing glasses or filling bottles quickly.
Who should skip it
You should look elsewhere if you need a high-arc main kitchen faucet. This unit is a bar faucet with a lower height, typically around 4.33 inches depending on the variation. It lacks a pull-down or pull-out sprayer head. If you require multiple spray functions for cleaning large pots, this single-stream design may not suffice. It is also not a smart faucet, so it does not offer voice control or app integration features.
Verdict: The Moen Cia Brushed Gold Bar Faucet offers a stylish, compact solution for bar sinks with convenient power boost functionality. It is a practical choice for those prioritizing aesthetics and simple operation in secondary kitchen spaces.
Key specs explained for this faucet
Faucet Type: Bar faucet
This unit is designed for bar sinks, which are typically shallower than standard kitchen sinks. You get a lower profile that fits well in compact spaces. It is not intended for deep main kitchen basins. If you need a primary sink fixture, look for a standard or prep faucet instead. This type suits secondary sinks or beverage stations.
Control Type: Single handle lever
One lever controls both water flow and temperature. You adjust settings with a simple lift or slide motion. This design offers quick operation compared to two-handle models. It is ideal for users who want straightforward control without managing separate hot and cold knobs. The mechanism reduces the steps needed to start or stop the water.
Features: Power Boost
This feature increases water velocity when activated. It helps rinse dishes faster and fills containers more quickly. You get more cleaning power without changing the water pressure source. This is useful for spot-rinsing items or filling large pots. The boost button provides temporary intensity for specific tasks rather than constant high flow.
Handle Count: Single Handle
The faucet uses one handle for all adjustments. This simplifies the design and reduces the number of moving parts. You can switch between hot and cold water instantly. It is easier to clean around the base due to fewer holes. This style is common in modern kitchens and bars for its clean look and functional simplicity.

Before you buy this faucet
This faucet targets bar sinks, so verify your basin depth before purchasing. The 23.4-inch length and 12.3-inch width require adequate counter space. You must check your existing plumbing for 3/8-inch compression fittings, as these flexible supply lines are included. If your setup uses different connections, you will need adapters or a plumber. The single-handle lever allows easy temperature control, which is practical for daily use. The brushed gold finish offers a modern look but may require specific cleaners to maintain its appearance without scratching. Coordinate with other Moen products if you plan to add a soap dispenser or pot filler. This model is not a dishwasher. It complements your kitchen workflow by providing dedicated bar service. Ensure your bar area has sufficient clearance for the 4.33-inch height. The Power Boost button provides a faster stream, useful for rinsing glasses.
