6 Best Alternatives to the SIMPLI-MAGIC 18.5 Gal Stainless Steel (2026)

How alternatives compare to original

EKO Urban 24 Gallon Stainless Steel Trash Can

The EKO Urban 24 Gallon Stainless Steel Trash Can offers a larger 90-liter capacity compared to the SIMPLI-MAGIC’s 70 liters. Its round shape measures 17.6 inches wide, which is slightly narrower than the SIMPLI-MAGIC’s 24-inch length but deeper. At 17 pounds, it is lighter than the SIMPLI-MAGIC’s 22-pound frame. This model lacks dual compartments, focusing instead on single-bin durability for high-volume commercial waste. You should choose this if you need maximum capacity in a compact footprint and do not require separate recycling sorting. It provides sturdy, open-top access suitable for restaurants or offices where hands-free hygiene is less critical than sheer volume handling.

Amazon Basics 80L Dual Touchless Can

The Amazon Basics 80L Dual Touchless Can doubles your capacity with an 80-liter dual compartment design, surpassing the SIMPLI-MAGIC’s 70 liters. It adds motion sensor technology for touchless operation, a feature the SIMPLI-MAGIC lacks. Measuring 14.4 inches wide and 18.5 inches long, it is more compact in footprint than the SIMPLI-MAGIC’s 24-inch length. At just 9.83 pounds, it is significantly lighter. This option suits busy households prioritizing hygiene and large capacity. You should pick this if you want automatic disposal convenience and fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, accepting a smaller width for a taller, narrower profile that fits better in tight kitchen corners.

Kraus WasteGuard 15.8 Gal Dual Step Can

The Kraus WasteGuard 15.8 Gal Dual Step Can offers a manual step-pedal mechanism instead of the SIMPLI-MAGIC’s open top. It provides 15.8 gallons, which is less than the SIMPLI-MAGIC’s 18.5 gallons, but includes soft-close lids for odor control. Its 14.8-inch width and 20.8-inch length make it narrower but longer than the SIMPLI-MAGIC. Weighing 19.2 pounds, it is slightly lighter. This model is ideal for tight kitchen spaces where odor containment matters. You should choose this if you prefer manual operation and sealed bins over open-top convenience, accepting reduced capacity for better hygiene in a residential setting.

YRLLENSDAN 16 Gal Dual Compartment Trash Can

The YRLLENSDAN 16 Gal Dual Compartment Trash Can provides 16 gallons of capacity, which is less than the SIMPLI-MAGIC’s 18.5 gallons. It features a single-lid pedal design, differing from the SIMPLI-MAGIC’s open-top dual bins. Measuring 14 inches wide and 22 inches long, it is narrower but shorter than the SIMPLI-MAGIC. It lacks the fingerprint-resistant finish and higher volume of the original. This option suits small kitchens needing compact waste sorting. You should pick this if space is limited and you prefer a closed, pedal-operated bin, accepting lower capacity and a simpler single-lid mechanism for a more discreet appearance.

VEVOR 17x30 Inch Double Drawer with Paper Towel Holder

The VEVOR 17x30 Inch Double Drawer is designed for outdoor kitchen islands rather than indoor waste sorting. It measures 17 inches wide and 30 inches high, making it taller and narrower than the SIMPLI-MAGIC. This unit offers manual, weather-proof storage instead of open-top waste disposal. It lacks the dual compartments and stainless steel waste-specific finish of the SIMPLI-MAGIC. You should choose this if you are building a custom outdoor kitchen and need durable, silent access storage. It is not a direct waste bin replacement but serves a different purpose in outdoor environments where weather resistance and manual operation are priorities.

SIMPLI-MAGIC 60L Dual Compartment Step Trash Can

The SIMPLI-MAGIC 60L Dual Compartment Step Trash Can offers 60 liters, which is less than the original’s 70 liters. It uses a manual step pedal instead of an open top, adding soft-close lids for odor control. Measuring 19 inches wide and 12 inches long, it is wider but shallower than the SIMPLI-MAGIC. At 15 pounds, it is lighter. This model suits buyers who want manual hands-free convenience over automatic sensors. You should pick this if you prefer a closed, pedal-operated system for kitchen use, accepting reduced capacity and a different footprint for better odor containment and a more traditional bin appearance.
