Who it fits
Good fit for
You should choose this faucet if you have a large or deep sink, such as in a commercial kitchen or a heavy-use home setup. The 28.7-inch height provides ample clearance for washing big pots and pans. The solid brass body and pre-rinse sprayer suit users who need high-pressure cleaning for food residue. The magnetic coupling arm helps keep the sprayer secure during vigorous use. If you prefer a classic matte black finish and sturdy construction, this model fits your needs.
Who should skip it
Skip this option if you have a small or standard residential sink. The 28.7-inch height is oversized and may not fit well in compact spaces. The heavy brass construction might be overkill for light-duty use. If you need a faucet with a lower profile or different installation requirements, this specific model may not suit your layout. Consider a standard height faucet if space is limited or if you do not require the high-pressure pre-rinse functionality.
Verdict: This WOWOW faucet is a robust, high-arch solution for large sinks needing durable construction and powerful spray. It suits commercial or heavy-use kitchens but is too tall for standard small sinks.
WOWOW Faucet Key Specs Explained
Height: 28.7 inches
This extra-large height provides significant clearance above the sink basin. It is designed for deep, industrial, or commercial sinks rather than standard residential countertops. You need ample vertical space to accommodate large pots and tall items. If your sink is shallow or your cabinet has low clearance, this fixture may not fit. It suits users with heavy-duty washing needs who require maximum reach.
Material: Solid Brass
The faucet body is constructed entirely from solid brass, not plated plastic or thin metal. This material choice increases durability and structural integrity over time. It resists corrosion and wear better than lighter alternatives. The weight contributes to stability, reducing wobble during use. You benefit from a long-lasting fixture that maintains its function in high-traffic commercial or home kitchens without frequent replacement.
Weight: 9.74 pounds
At nearly ten pounds, this unit is heavy for a faucet. The substantial mass anchors the fixture firmly to the deck, preventing tipping or shifting during operation. This stability is crucial for pre-rinse sprayers that generate significant force. You do not need to worry about the faucet becoming loose or unstable. Compare this weight to lighter models that may feel flimsy or require additional reinforcement for secure installation.
Swivel: 360 degrees
The high-arch design allows the spout to rotate a full circle. This feature provides access to all areas of a large sink basin. You can rinse items from any angle without repositioning the faucet base. It is essential for cleaning large trays, pots, or multiple dishes efficiently. This range of motion ensures you can reach every corner of deep sinks, making it a practical choice for thorough cleaning tasks.
Sprayer: Pre-Rinse
The included sprayer head delivers a high-pressure spray to remove food residue quickly. It offers two modes: a powerful spray for cleaning and a stream for filling pots. The sprayer stays open with a single press, allowing hands-free operation. This feature mimics commercial kitchen efficiency. You benefit from faster cleanup times and better hygiene. It is ideal for households that cook frequently and need to rinse heavy cookware effectively.
Design and Build Overview
According to the listing, this faucet is crafted from solid brass, a material chosen for its heavy-duty durability and reliability. The unit weighs 9.74 pounds, which adds significant mass to the structure. This weight helps keep the faucet stable during use, reducing wobble or movement when you are applying pressure to the sprayer or handle. The matte black finish provides a low-key aesthetic that fits classic kitchen styles, though other colors like brushed nickel or chrome are available in variations.
The design prioritizes function over compactness. At 28.7 inches tall, it is an oversized fixture intended for large, deep, or industrial sinks. It is not suitable for small residential sinks where clearance is limited. The high arch allows you to clean large pots and pans with ease. A 360-degree swivel spout ensures you can reach all areas of the basin. The magnetic coupling arm keeps the pre-rinse sprayer head stable and prevents it from falling back into the sink.
Controls are straightforward. The handle offers two water flow modes: a high-pressure spray for flushing food residue and a stream mode for filling pots quickly. You can keep the sprayer open with a single press of the handle, so you do not need to hold it down. The unit supports one or three-hole installation, making it adaptable to different deck configurations. You will receive a deck plate and hoses to assist with setup.
Setup and Everyday Use Guide
Installation requires a single or three-hole deck mount configuration. The listing includes a 9.6-inch deck plate, 19.7-inch hot and cold water hoses, gloves, and detailed instructions. You can install this unit yourself without hiring a plumber. The solid brass construction provides a stable base for this heavy fixture. Daily operation involves two distinct water flow modes. The pre-rinse sprayer delivers high-pressure spray to remove food residue. You can keep the sprayer open with a single press of the handle, so you do not need to hold it down. The stream mode fills large pots and pans quickly. Both functions can operate simultaneously, offering flexibility during busy cooking sessions. The faucet rotates 360 degrees, providing ample reach for cleaning or filling tasks in deep sinks. A magnetic coupling arm keeps the spray head stable and prevents it from falling back into the basin. This matte black finish is low-key and suits classic kitchen decorating styles. The extra-large 28.7-inch height is essential for large or industrial sinks. It is not suitable for small residential sinks. The solid brass material ensures durability and reliability for demanding environments. You should verify your sink depth before installation to ensure proper clearance. The included accessories simplify the setup process for most users.
Before You Buy This Faucet
Before purchasing this WOWOW commercial kitchen faucet, verify your sink depth. The 28.7-inch height is excessive for standard residential basins and is intended for deep or industrial setups. Ensure your countertop has sufficient clearance for the high arch and 360-degree swivel. Check your existing plumbing compatibility, as it requires a single or three-hole deck mount. The included 19.7-inch hoses may not reach distant connections in all kitchen layouts. Maintenance involves wiping the matte black finish to prevent water spots, as solid brass is durable but shows fingerprints. This fixture belongs in a high-volume workspace, not a typical home kitchen. It complements heavy-duty dishwashers that handle large loads, creating a cohesive commercial-style station. If you operate a busy restaurant or a large family kitchen with deep pots, this unit supports rapid pre-rinsing. For smaller residential sinks, it will overwhelm the space. Consider your daily workflow and available vertical space before integrating this into your dishwashing routine.
Check before you buy
- Verify sink depth matches the 28.7-inch height
